The Lockdown Gazette is a newspaper for the digitally excluded of Newcastle and Gateshead and is a collective effort from the For Solidarity Network in response to exceptional circumstances imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
There have now been three issues of the Lockdown Gazette and they have been distributed to communities who might not have access to the internet during isolation.
Issue 3 is a student-led edition that aims to highlight the impact of the Covid-19 crisis on student volunteers from Newcastle University and the charities, community organisations and creative initiatives hosting them as part of their degree.
